Please describe the single accomplishment (major paper, science project or experiment, artistic project, or accomplishment) of which you are most proud, and tell why you take special pride in it.

Is there anything unusual about your family (cultural background, shared interest and activities, travel, size, etc) that has had a significant impact on your own interests and concerns?

Parent Letter of Recommendation

As colleges and scholarships become more competitive, it is necessary to create an accurate and comprehensive profile of your student in a letter of recommendation. Parents can provide the most in depth picture of a student complete with anecdotes and background information.

Please write a "Letter of Recommendation" for your student. Your student's counselor will select input from staff members and you to develop the best possible reflection of him/her as a person/student. The extent to which you reply to this request is up to you. PLEASE DO NOT EXCEED ONE PAGE.

Listed below are some suggested topics to include or address:

· Leadership, motivation, energy, sense of adventure

· Outlook on life

· Enthusiasm, ability to meet challenges (cite examples if something special comes to mind)

· Examples of responsibility, maturity, dependability

· Ability to meet challenges

· Sense of humor

· Any special or unique characteristic which cannot be overlooked when describing the qualities of your student.
