Community Participation—Government
The Social Studies Department has assigned the Seniors 6 hours of community participation per semester.
The students need practical experience in how society benefits from its citizens playing an active role. Upon
graduating in June, these same students will be counted on to contribute as educated and prepared citizens in their
respective communities. All that is required of the sponsor is a signature that verifies the student’s participation.
Failure to complete this assignment will result in a grade of an “F” for the semester.
